Mammography Technologist

Large and Busy OB/GYN practice looking for a Mammography Technologist. We are looking for a candidate who is able to learn in a fast paced environment, has a positive attitude and has a passion for OBGYN.*Duties:*- Perform mammography exams on patients using specialized imaging equipment- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the procedure- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety- Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment*Qualifications:*- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist- Proficient in performing mammography exams, including positioning techniques and image acquisition- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to mammography- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, ER, PET scan, X-Ray, or Sonography is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze images- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control proceduresJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemPay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
