Requisition ID: 42884Job Location(s):Loves Park, IL, USPlant DirectorThe Plant Leader will have full operations responsibility of the Loves Park plant. She/He will drive processes that will maximize safety, quality, delivery and costs (SQDC). She/he will drive our manufacturing excellence strategy to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations. The Plant Leader will be accountable for all costs related to operations (variable costs, fixed production costs and CAPEX) supporting business objectives and profitable growth. She/He will ensure policies and procedures are followed such as, but not limited to IATF, ISO 14001 & 45001, and Danfoss Productivity Program (DPP). The Plant Leader will engage the workforce in living the Danfoss values.Essential Functions:- Creates, plans and implements programs to achieve strategic and profit plans that meet divisional and segment objectives- Sets overall plant policies and procedures to ensure effective operations consistent with the Danfoss Business System, Leadership Attributes and Ethical Standards- Establishes managerial leadership, credibility and trust through clear communication and actions with all levels of the organization- Fosters an environment which promotes Danfoss's goals, encourages continuous improvement, and builds customer relationships- Interacts with customers to ensure understanding of their expectations and achievement of their satisfaction of plant products and services- Builds organizational capability to support a high-performance culture by both directly and indirectly supporting talent management activities such as empowered decision-making, performance development, mentoring, coaching and training- Assists in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals.- Manages operating capital assets to achieve financial integrity and fiduciary responsibilities with accountability for the day-to-day decisions that directly impact safety, quality, delivery and cost- Delegates and monitors plant operations for compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies relative to personnel, safety, environmental and similar requirementsBackground & SkillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution• Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing/supply chain experience• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading (preferably leading leaders as plant manager / ops. Manager)• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship• Master's degree in a business or technical field (preferably)Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
