Process Engineer

*Process Engineer**Long term Contract (Through 2027 but also likely to convert Full-Time)**Concord, NC (50-60% travel to other sites)**Position Brand Description:*This position is in Concord, North Carolina. The Process Engineer is the equipment expert for one process in the cross functional business area they are assigned. The Engineer - Process is responsible for partnering with the equipment delivery organization (e.g. Global Packaging/IDM and OEMs) in the delivery of automated device assembly and packaging lines.*Quality and Reliability ** Obtain technical expertise of equipment and processes in area of responsibility.* Understand equipment flow chart / process flow document, critical process parameters, and Control Strategy for responsible process area.* Learn fundamental process user operations/process requirements by initially embedding with process teams supporting similar equipment.* Understand equipment design and user requirements and represent IDAP interests on project teams* Support all associated C&Q activities (e.g. FAT, SAT, IV/OV and PQ)* Support process validation activities and ramp up of the production line.* Create and ensure equipment related procedures and instructions can be executed as written so that practice matches procedure*Minimum Requirements:** Experience in supporting production assets (3+ years) in assembly or packaging* Strong interpersonal and communications skills to be able to work effectively in a team-based environment.* Ability to share technical knowledge.* Strong computer skills in a variety of software packages (Excel, PowerBi, etc.).* Ability to work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others.* Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.*Additional Preferences:** Previous experience in asset delivery and startup of Assembly or Packaging Assets* Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry* Previous experience in project management*Education Requirements:** Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent work experience)Job Type: ContractPay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):* Are you open to 50-60% travel after 6 months?Ability to Commute:* Concord, NC 28027 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Concord, NC 28027: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Concord, NC 28027
