*Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator - New York, NY (#25142)** _*Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home*_* _*Mileage reimbursement*_*Greenlife Healthcare Staffing* is currently seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor/Complaint Investigator to fill an opening with a Review Company located in New York, New York.*Responsibilities of the Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator:** Participate in surveys or complaint investigations to include allegations of abuse and neglect, and perform surveillance activities/tasks at nursing homes (long-term care) to determine compliance with Federal and State regulations.* Produce written documentation and draft a Statement of Deficiencies (SOD) within the required time frame, using Principles of Documentation.* Assess compliance with the Plan of Correction within the required time frame.* Complete data entry in Federal and State reporting databases as required.* Participate in State monitoring during Immediate Jeopardy situations.* Attend meetings as required.* Testify in administrative hearings as needed.* Adhere to DOH work schedules.* Adhere to DOH and company policies, and procedures.* Travel to onsite locations according to work schedule*Requirements of the Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator:** Must have an NYS Social Worker license* Must have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a medical facility, preferably a nursing home* 2 years of experience performing nursing home surveillance activities is preferred* SMQT Certification is preferred but should be able to obtain within 12 months of employment*Benefits of the Licensed Master Social Worker - Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator:** The salary for this position is $39 / hr* This is a Contract/Travel position* Mileage reimbursement* Flexible Schedule*Greenlife Healthcare Staffing* is a nationwide recruitment agency, matching both new grads and advanced practitioners to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, multi-specialty groups, and private practices.#IND3Job Type: ContractPay: $39.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Mileage reimbursementSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In person
