Maintain adequate certification updated.Graduation from an accredited medical school.Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of a branch of medicineEssential Functions:The Pediatrician provides comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults, ensuring the highest quality of care.Monitoring growth and development,Diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses and injuries,Managing chronic conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records.Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and the healthcare team to develop and review policies for Federal program patients.Key duties include prescribing medications, consulting specialists as neededAdhering to medical ethics,Actively participating in staff meetings to improve clinic operations.The Pediatrician supports the implementation of patient-centered medical home (PCMH) processes, facilitates audits for compliance with regulations, and serves as a preceptor for medical and advanced practice students.
