School-Based Therapist (Joplin High School)TITLE:School-Based Mental Health Therapist - Joplin High SchoolSALARY RANGE:$55,000DESCRIPTION:ACCESS Family Care is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide school-based therapy services to high school students in Joplin, Missouri. This is a full-time salaried position with a 9.5-month work schedule that mirrors the public-school calendar.A generous benefits package is offered for the entire calendar year.The provider in this position will perform the following duties:Develop relationships and work collaboratively with high school teachers, school counselors, and administrative staff.Complete diagnostic intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for high school students, consistent with evidence-based practices.Provide mental health therapy and behavioral health services for high school students, designed to promote personal growth consistent with their treatment plans.Educate high school students and their parents/guardians regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and therapeutic process.Working in a public school setting is challenging and rewarding.
