Thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that values your expertise, supports professional development, and offers impactful opportunities to solve challenging problems.Responsibilities:Thorough Investigations: Initiate prompt and detailed contact with insureds, claimants, and witnesses. Conduct comprehensive coverage, liability, and injury investigations, including obtaining recorded statements to resolve claims efficiently.Policy Analysis: Expertly review and interpret complex insurance policies, providing guidance on Excess and Primary coverage issues.Field Operations & Oversight: Direct field investigations and coordinate with outside vendors (Field/Counsel/Surveillance) to ensure high-quality, necessary actions that lead to successful claim outcomes.Reserve Management: Perform timely and accurate reserve analyses based on claim developments to maintain financial oversight.Fraud Prevention: Identify and investigate potential fraudulent claims, working with SIU to mitigate risk.Litigation Support: Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy, actively participate in the discovery process, and develop effective settlement strategies.Strategic Negotiations: Lead merit-based negotiations with injured parties and attorneys to resolve claims favorably for both 1st and 3rd party matters.Subrogation Recovery: Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities to minimize losses.Representation in Legal Proceedings: Represent the company during arbitrations, depositions, settlement conferences, mediations, and trials.Professional Development & Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends by participating in training sessions and contributing to team initiatives and special projects.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Experience: 5-10 years of proven experience managing complex liability claims, including Commercial, Homeowners, UM/UIM, and Excess/Umbrella cases.Expertise: Advanced knowledge of litigation, arbitration, trial procedures, and out-of-state claim handling.Leadership & Analytical Skills: Strong self-motivation and mastery in coverage analysis, investigations, legal matters, negotiations, and subrogation.Effective Communication: Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for managing intricate claim resolutions.Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of state laws, regulatory guidelines, and statutory regulations.claims4 weeks accrued paid time off + 9 paid national holidays per yearTuition ReimbursementLow cost and excellent coverage health insurance options that start on Day 1 (medical, dental, vision)Robust health and wellness program and fitness reimbursementsAuto and home insurance discountsMatching gift opportunitiesAnnual 401(k) Employer Contribution (up to 7.5% of your base salary)Various Paid Family leave options including Paid Parental LeaveResources to promote Professional Development (LinkedIn Learning and licensure assistance)Convenient location directly across from South Station and Pre-Tax Commuter BenefitsAbout the CompanyThe Plymouth Rock Company and its affiliated group of companies write and manage over $2 billion in personal and commercial auto and homeowner's insurance throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, where we have built an unparalleled reputation for service.
