We are a privately-owned, correctional healthcare company that delivers compassionate, comprehensive medical and mental health care to underserved populations in our communities.We are now hiring!Position: Licensed Mental Health ProfessionalSchedule: Flexible Daytime Hours, 12 hours per weekPay: $30 starting; commensurate with experienceLocation: Georgetown Regional JailResponsibilities:Use interviews, case history review, and/or observational techniques, to evaluate data and identify focus of treatment interventionsProvide crisis management, and/or short-term solution-focused therapy to patients as appropriateDemonstrate knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate interventionsInitiate interdisciplinary treatment plans and participate in the ongoing treatment planning processConsult with other healthcare and corrections professionals as appropriate for therapeutic and/or caseworkDocument promptly and properlyDetermine success of treatment used; change treatment interventions when indicatedParticipate in the review of clinical issues, and program policies and proceduresPractice to required standards set by governmental agencies and professional oversight organizations as applicable.Adhere to MEDIKOs Standards of Professional ConductFollow standards of professional practice established by the custody staff, MEDIKO, and all other entities that apply.QualificationsFull or Associate/Intern-level license to deliver Counseling and/or Therapy in the State of South CarolinaMaster's degree from an accredited clinical counseling discipline, such as Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or similarMust hold valid and current CPR/BLS prior to start dateBenefitsParticipation in the MEDIKO retirement planEmployee Assistance ProgramPlease visit our website at to learn more about opportunities with us!EOE STATEMENT: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
