RN Supervisor

We are currently looking for a *Full Time RN Supervisor *tojoin our enthusiastic team at Paul's Run.Paul's Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia has a reputation as one of the BEST senior health care providers. We are family!*Shift / Schedule available*:* Full Time* 3:00pm - 11:30pm* Monday-Friday* Weekend on call every 8-9 weeks*Key job responsibilities include*:* Provide nursing care according to physician orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.* Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.* Make rounds with physicians, assist in examinations and/or treatment of residents, and carry out orders.* Assess residents and notify attending physician and responsible party in the event of a change in residents' conditions.* Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of nursing care, respond to changes in medical condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs, and perform first aid as required.* Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned staff and other designated personnel in meeting the residents' needs.* Ensure problems and complaints involving nursing services are managed in a timely and appropriate manner.* Assess and monitor complex resident health status and determine the appropriate nursing intervention. Develop and monitor the ongoing plan of care with residents, and initiate corrective action as necessary.* Complete and sign incident reports and provide follow-up as required.* Ensure that all resident records are accurate and complete, and that all mandatory forms are on file.*Education and Experience: ** Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred.* Two years of experience working as a registered nurse including some medical/surgical experience and awareness of the needs of geriatric residents.* Knowledge of Federal and State regulations, as well as OBRA laws.
