*~Speech Language Pathologist~*Heritage Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our *in-house *therapy department at our Logan facility. This position can allow for a *Full-Time *status (30-32hrs), *Part-Time* status (15-20hrs), or *consistent PRN *status.*The starting pay rate for full-time (30-32hrs) is $42 w/ fluctuation based on relative experience. *_*Additional hours are available at our Canal Winchester location. *_*Part-Time offers flexible scheduling and PTO accrual**PRN offers competitive compensation*_*~About Us~*_Our 135-bed facility in Logan is nestled in the picturesque scenery near Lake Logan State Park and is conveniently located off Route 33 between Lancaster and Athens.Heritage Rehab provides high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapies and rehabilitation. We strive to help patients reach their maximum potential so they can live as independently as possible. Our experienced therapists work closely with patients and their caregivers to build customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each individual's needs.Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid license to practice in Ohio.*POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*1. Assigning patient care activities to professional and non-professional personnel.2. Interpreting responsibilities and SNF policies to therapy personnel.3. Assures the execution of doctor's orders.4. Oversees the maintenance of the therapy records (medical, personnel, accounting, billing, etc.)*PRIMARY THERAPY RESPONSIBILITIES:*1. Evaluates and treats communication disorders, including motor speech disorders, language disorders, cognitive language deficits and voice disorders.2. Provides direct patient services to improve the cognitive, communicative and or swallowing abilities of neurological impaired persons.3. Evaluates, treats and provides case management for dysphagic patients.4. Provides documentation to maintain quality of the medical records, as it relates to reimbursement guidelines, accuracy of billing information and facility requirements.5. Develops and implements treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes and adheres to professional standards of practice.6. Follows administrative policies and procedures related to emergency procedures, infection control and safety.7. Coordinates and or participates in training programs for facility staff, residents, families and rehabilitation staff.8. Initiates new program development with focus on functional outcomes to improve the quality of life of the people residing in the facility.9. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities.10.
