OPWDD Nurse

A well-established non-profit based in New York is currently seeking an RN/LPN for its Brooklyn location. RNs/LPNs with experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities looking to create great advancements in their professional careers are encouraged to apply directly to this job posting.The base pay range for this position is $45 to $50 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. This is a temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you fully transition!*Responsibilities:** The registered nurse will administer treatments or medication as ordered by the physician.* Visit resident to evaluate the individuals' physical conditions.* Revie health care provided to individuals including, related materials, recording notes and findings.* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and attend training sessions as directed.* Act as a liaison between Individuals and the providers of health care in the community.* Perform assessments, problem identification and evaluation of the consumer's care needs.*Qualifications:** Registered Nurse - New York State Licensure* Bachelors Degree in Nursing - BSN or Associates in Nursing* One year of nursing experience preferred* Prior experience working with the OPWDD or individuals with I/DD#INDEEDTHJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hourPhysical Setting:* Clinic* OutpatientApplication Question(s):* Whats the best phone number and email you can be reached at?Work Location: In person
