PT may purchase at higher rate.7 Paid HolidaysVanguard 403 B retirement package with 3% matchShort-term disabilityTuition reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program- For when life hits and you need free solutions!Employee Discount Program- Start saving on enjoyment!What you'll do:*Participates in collection of assessment data to develop a plan of careFollows the established plan of care and associated procedures and policiesProvide grooming/hygiene for residents as requiredDemonstrates skills and knowledge to provide safe, competent nurse aide careServe residents' trays according to prescribed diets and collect when finishedFeed residents/assist with meal consumptionAssist residents in walking and/or wheelchair mobilityPerform temperature, respiration and blood pressure, record results and report results to nurseReport any unusual conditions or reaction to the unit supervisorCollect soiled linens/clothing, transport linen/clothing to laundry and distribute clean linen/clothingAccompany and assist residents to the hospital, physician office and other appointments as necessaryParticipate in Interdisciplinary Plan of Care Team meetingsParticipate in committees/projects, continuing education programs, training sessions and meetingsDocumentation of care given for each residentMaintain resident rooms, nursing units, kitchenettes in neat, clean orderAssist residents with dressing as requiredCharges equipment, supplies and services correctlyParticipates in performance improvement activitiesResponds appropriately to emergency situationsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma or GED preferred, or 1-year experience as a Nursing AssistantCriminal background check current within one year (and all other clearances)Must have valid and current Certification for the CNA position*Casual employee: You tell us your availability. Not eligible for benefits. Required to work 2 weekend shifts per month AND 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday.*Part time employee: Must work what facility needs.
