With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, Kansas City Steak could become your next career move!Competitive Wages and Benefits:Hourly wage for this position starts at $26.00 per hour up to $34.50 per hour depending on experience$3.00 per hour perfect attendance bonus to be paid out weeklyQuarterly and annual perfect attendance bonusFamily-friendly benefits including health, vision and dental401K Retirement Plan with company matchPaid Vacation after 90 days of servicePaid HolidayEmployee Meat Purchase SalesPaid Life InsuranceResponsibilities:Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machinesRebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/partsPerforming preventative maintenanceInstalling equipment/machinery/partsInspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems as directed by supervisorComplete daily required reporting as well as additional reports as instructedCollaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facilityComplete all assignments in priority order as delegated by the supervisorComplete startup procedures when appropriateNotify supervisor of any unusual conditions which may result in downtimeComplete assignment tickets in accurate and timely mannerRecord all crisis and unscheduled work orders on the assignment ticketRespond to crisis situations in an expedient mannerMaintain tools in good working orderReturn all borrowed tools to owning areaComplete all work & safety training as designated by plant managementRespond to crisis situations as assigned by supervisorEnsure that all appropriate safety procedures are followedParticipate in cost control measures including the return of all unused material to supplyMaintain refrigeration systemOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position.This is an on-site position.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following:Demonstrated 2 years or more working in MaintenanceMechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functionsAbility to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenchesBasic computer skillsWillingness to work and be on time when scheduledAbility to read, write and speak English preferredStrong work ethic and eye for detailExemplary safety record (with previous employer)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalThe following experience is preferred but not required:Ammonia/Refrigeration systemsElectricalFood processing3 phase and electronic experiencePrior industry experience preferredGeneral knowledge of plant layout and production floor equipment and processesApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.Company Overview:National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
