PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - PATH Center

In this role, you'll work closely with our Medical Director and a dedicated team to educate, support, and guide patients through their treatment journey. Your expertise will help enhance care programs, build trust, and create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and valued. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.*Primary Responsibilities:*· Deliver comprehensive primary care to HIV-positive patients of all ages, including counseling and treatment for PrEP and PEP· Manage patient admissions and referrals to the ER Department and ensure confidentiality· Educate patients on HIV treatment, adherence, and prevention strategies· Oversee clinical team members as assigned by the Medical Director· Participate in performance improvement, program development, and multidisciplinary meetings· Contribute to new program initiatives addressing clinical and psychosocial needs of HIV-affected children, adult and geriatric patients· Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of PATH Center services· Lead and conduct monthly OB multidisciplinary rounds*Minimum qualifications:*· Completion of a Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution· Demonstrated experience working in an HIV primary care environment· Current New York State Physician Assistant license· ACLS, BCLS and NCCPA certificationsLocated in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, TBHC is a clinical affiliate of The Mount Sinai Hospital and an academic affiliate of The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
