*Job Title: Windows Server Support Technician**Location:* Frankfort, KY*Job Summary:* We are seeking a low to mid-level Windows Server Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some IT experience (preferably 2-5 years on servers), be a troubleshooter, and eager to learn. This role involves supporting servers in a VMware environment, resolving security vulnerabilities, and providing incident response support.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide server and application support.* Ensure server security and manage certificates.* Review and remediate Tenable security scans.* Support incident response efforts.* Build and support automation tools.* Provide field server support, including travel as required.* Create and maintain technical documentation.* Utilize monitoring tools to ensure server health.* Manage projects and participate in project management activities.* Participate in the server on-call rotation.* Perform other duties as assigned.*Skills Required:** Proven history of resolving security vulnerabilities and supporting security incident response.* Experience supporting servers in a VMware environment.* Strong troubleshooting skills for Server OS issues.* Experience with Windows SQL clusters.* Ability to support .NET IIS applications.* Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.* Project management or leadership skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to solve issues and advance projects.* Initiative to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.* Strong technical documentation skills.*Qualifications:** Some IT experience (preferably 2-5 years on servers).* Troubleshooter and eager to learn.* Ability to work well in a team and independently.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.Job Type: ContractPay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
