Junior Business Analyst

*Start Date: July 2025*Brooksource is hiring an entry level Business Systems Analyst to join our Banking Client's team. You will be part of a larger team to to aid the elicitation, analysis, creation, and validation of epics, features, and user stories and provide support during release events that support the client's customers and colleagues*Responsibilities:** Elicit, analyze, document, and validate epics, features, and user stories.* Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.* Run stories on Azure DevOps Board for the team.* Aid in the triage of defects during testing cycles.* Develop and update documentation to support new/changes to procedures.* Work with the team to respond and answer questions generated by team members and business partners.* Act as a liaison between business units and the development team.*Minimum Requirements:** Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Systems, Business Analytics, or Related Field.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.* Strong technical writing skills.* Experience writing simple SQL statements.* Experience writing user stories.* Experience creating data maps.* Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.* Ability to translate technology into relatable concepts for business partners and stakeholders.* Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.* Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tool.* Experience with Visio or other process mapping tools.* Experience in an Agile environment._Brooksource provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. _Job Type: Full-timePay: $56,000.00 - $58,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Professional development assistanceCompensation Package:* Hourly pay* Weekly paySchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayEducation:* Bachelor's (Required)Ability to Commute:* Columbus, OH 43219 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Columbus, OH 43219: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
