Financing Business Analyst / AR BILLING ANALYSTNew Position just added, as our Finance / Accounting Team grows!ON-SITE POSITION: Will be Full Time / Exempt in our beautiful Columbia MD Corporate Office!LOCAL MARYLAND / DC AREA CANDIDATES ONLY, PLEASEWe are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Financing Business Analyst - part of our AR Team - to oversee all of our financing platforms offered to customers. This role involves working closely with customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure seamless financing processes, accurate documentation, and timely payment processing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of financing options, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.This is NOT an IT or Data Analyst position - It is part of our Accounting & Finance Team.Our company provides Plumbing & HVAC Services to mostly Residential Home-owners / Property Owners - and many times, those larger dollar work orders are Financed through a variety of platforms. This position will work in close collaboration with many members of our Team to ultimately support our Customers in these types of financial / credit transactions.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all customer financing platforms, ensuring alignment with company standards and available financing options.Provide in-depth knowledge of the different financing options available to customers and assist in helping them choose the best option for their needs.Support customers through the financing application process, guiding them in completing applications accurately and thoroughly.Assist technicians by answering questions and providing support related to financing procedures.Follow up with customers regarding incomplete or incorrect applications, missing signatures, and any issues related to financing.Revise financing applications when necessary to ensure they meet approval criteria.Generate, maintain, and send out financing reports for each available option on a regular basis.Process customer payments by charging accounts, ensuring accurate payment processing.Batch payments in Service Titan and ensure proper reconciliation of payment records.Monitor and resolve any discrepancies related to payment batches or financing issues.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.Provide ongoing support and training to team members on financing processes and procedures.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in finance or business analysis, preferably within the HVAC, plumbing, sewer, or electrical industry.Strong understanding of financing options and the application process.Service Titan knowledge preferred - familiarity with payment batching, reconciliation, and system navigation.Proficiency with financial software and platforms.Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide customer support and guidance.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.Physical Demands:Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.May occasionally be required to attend meetings at various company locations.Perks and Benefits That Matter:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, pet insurance and more to keep you and your family, including the furry ones healthy.401(k) matching to support your financial future.Paid holidays, PTO, and employee perks like Employee Discount Program.Apply Today and Lead with Purpose!We are a NEXSTAR company, focused on great quality plumbing work and exceptional customer service.Disclaimer: The above job description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.
