CDL Driver Sanitation

Allstaff is currently hiring for Sanitation positions. An Ideal candidate is someone who under general supervision, operates a variety of heavy equipment in order to assist with the sanitation activities. Collects and transports commercial and residential trash. Operates collection truck and refuse vehicles on assigned routes and transports refuse to disposal sites. Performs routine cleaning, inspection and maintenance on vehicles. Assists with loading and unloading as needed. Performs other related duties as required.MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Driver Requires related experience and a Class "A" or Class "B" commercial driver's license. Collectors must be able to perform the duties of the physical requirements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Must be physically able to operate a collection vehicle as well as a variety of maintenance tools and equipment. Must be physically able to exert up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Position involves walking, reaching, bending, crouching, reclining, stooping and balancing, and is in excess of sedentary work.
