Job Description:Lawrence Transportation has an immediate position available for a local household goods driver in our Roanoke, Va. location. We currently seek dedicated and motivated class A drivers to join our team. In the moving business, the peak season runs from May-October, where you can expect some 50-60 hour weeks and we guarantee you 40 hours during the slow season. We also have a freight division, where you can haul some freight during winter months. Once you get one year of experience in this division, you will have the opportunity to become a contractor and move families across country.Our long-haul contractors earn on average $300,000-$400,000 per year.
