We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team and help maintain accurate financial records while ensuring expenses are appropriately classified and reconciled. Calavan is CLOSED on Sundays!Job ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing & Expense ManagementProcess invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure expenses are classified and allocated correctlyTrack invoices to prevent duplication of payments.Accounting & ReconciliationReconcile schedules and vendor statementsEnsure all expenses are spread appropriatelyUnderstand and apply basic accounting principles, including debit vs. credit.Assist in month-end closing processes to ensure financial accuracy.System & Compliance ManagementFollow established procedures and guidelines to ensure financial compliance.Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies in a professional manner.Work within Dealertrack (preferred) or other dealership management systems.Qualifications & RequirementsDealership experience required (automotive industry experience is a must).Strong accounts payable experience with a solid understanding of expense categorization.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to follow directions and ensure tasks are completed as instructed.Experience in reconciling schedules.Proficiency in accounting principles, particularly debits vs. credits.Experience with Dealertrack is preferred but not required.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Why Join Calavan Kia?Competitive compensation package.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Growth opportunities within the dealership network.Family-owned environment.Great benefits package.If you are an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with a background in automotive dealerships and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply!
