Reasonableaccommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum Qualifications· BS Degree in Accounting preferred.· Minimum 3-4 years' accounts receivable experience including collections.· Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities· High proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.· Must be able to organize & prioritize· High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.· High energy, a can-do attitude and exhibit a responsible and responsive tenacity.· Ability to work independentlyEssential Functions· Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit card transactions and financing sources.· Manages customer financing programs, updates systems for approved loans, processes payments onapplicable financing portals, issues completion loan documents for final payments.· Create customer invoices for installation.· Manages and prepares AR Aging Reports for weekly AR meetings.· Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales,customer service departments, and from customers.· Works with other departments to collect final payments at installation and services.· Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.· Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and coordinating contact with collections firm. · Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. · Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. · Serve as back-up for other areas in the accounting department. · Other accounting responsibilities as assigned. · Other job duties as assignedPhysical Demands· Sitting for Extended Periods· Computer Use· Meetings and Collaboration· CommunicationWork Environment· Office Setting: work at the company's main office or corporate headquarters, handling financialtransactions, invoicing, and managing accounts.· Sales/Service Support Team: Given the nature of the business, Accounts Receivable Specialists maycollaborate with the sales support team to ensure accurate billing and invoicing for the products andservices provided.· Contract and Legal Department: Collaboration with the contract and legal teams might be required toensure that contracts and agreements accurately reflect the financial terms and conditions.· Technology Platforms: Utilizing various software and technology platforms for billing, invoicing, andaccount management is common.
