For nearly twenty years, brands have confidently trusted HonorBuilt with their new restaurant openings, field installations, and store support.The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Controller in preparing, reviewing, and distributing all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and HonorBuilt standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will bring advanced accounting knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and strong analytical skills to support decision-making processes.Essential Job Functions:Oversee the bi-weekly payroll processOversee weekly billing processSupport collections efforts and manage credit insurance filingsReview, analyze and identify accounting transactions that should be accrued for in the ERPOversee payables, reimbursable travel, and credit card reconciliationsOversee sales tax calculations and remittanceReconcile assigned monthly balance sheet and bank account reconciliationsMaintain/update prepaid and fixed asset schedule and make corresponding entriesTimely monthly close of the financial statementsEffective communication with the Controller on P&L status and bank reportingCrosstrain in all aspects of accounting departmentAssist in external audits as neededOther projects as assigned by controllerEducation/Training:Required:Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university with a degree in business required, preferably in finance or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.3 years related experiencePreferred:4+ years progressive accounting experienceExperience supervising and/or reviewing others' workStrong working knowledge of QuickBooks DesktopExperience with ERP system migrationsExperience/Knowledge/Abilities:Required:Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applicationsExcellent attention to detailStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsConsistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude, and professional demeanor.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insurance
