Software/Systems Engineer Columbia, MDSalary Range: $105,000 - $120,000Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance PackageIn-Depth Engineering Corporation is seeking dedicated and innovative software engineer with systems engineering experience to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development programs. This position offers the opportunity to work on the Electronic Warfare Micro-Adaptive Trainer (EW-MAT) program, focusing on designing and developing cutting-edge software capabilities, incorporating advanced simulation and stimulation attributes, and leveraging the latest tools, technologies and infrastructures, such as Kubernetes/Docker, to support an interactive, adaptive training tool that is delivered to the submarine warfare community.The work will be performed in our Research and Development Lab in Columbia, MD.Key Responsibilities:Participate in software and systems engineering developmentPerform code inspections and troubleshoot softwareUtilize modern software tools within an agile environmentDesign, develop, integrate and test software across several programsWork primarily with C++, Java and Python in a Linux environmentPrepare engineering design documentationPresent engineering materials during peer and customer reviewsIn-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401(k) program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
