The primary responsibility of a Client Service Representative (CSR) is to be a resource to the clients of Oak Medical (Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living facilities) and the team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses. The team of CSRs creates the daily patient schedules for the team of Health Care Providers, ensures patient visits remain in compliance for Medicare/Medicaid, and acts a liaison between clients and Oak Medical.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the master log of patient appointmentsAnswers calls from assigned facilities, sends messages to appropriate providers, follows up outstanding callsUtilize Microsoft Outlook to receive emails regarding facility censusesManage patient charts within company Electronic Health RecordFax completed documentation of patient notes to various facilitiesManage Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant's daily patient scheduleMonitor medical record requests to ensure their timely arrival for new patient appointmentsFollow up on pending/incomplete notes to ensure timely completion of patient documentationProvide coverage for other teammates during vacation or days offDesired Experience/Qualifications2 years Unit Clerk or Health Unit Coordinator ExperienceExperience working within Skilled Nursing Facilities preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
