CDL A Transfer Driver - Phoenix, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY:The position is based in Phoenix , AZ and delivers lubrication and chemical supplies, to our branches within the company also to customers within our geographic region.The driver will typically be away from home for one night a week as well as doing local routes on the non-transfer days.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspection in alignment with corporate and federal regulations• Operate all equipment within guidelines of corporate or jurisdictional requirements, including all regulations• Every truck is loaded with the correct product and quantity before exiting the yard• Deliver bulk and packaged product to the customer after first verifying capacity and product accuracy• Maintain all required paperwork, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, retain transactions, and logbook if applicable• Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a pleasant and accommodating work environment through a spirit of teamwork• Perform all reasonable work-related assignments as requested by the supervisorQUALIFICATIONS:• The selected individual must at all times maintain the following in good status:• DOT Medical Certification• CDL (Class A) in Arizona• Minimum 2 years related to a commercial driving experience• Must possess excellent customer service skills including telephone communicationPHYSICAL DEMANDS:• Ability to continually lift up to 75+• Must be able to transition from driver to loader/unloader continuouslyJob Type: Full-timeExperience:• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)License:• CDL Class A (Required)
