Information Systems Security Engineer

The region's leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health Network is seeking an *Information Security Engineer *to develop and maintain the security infrastructure of the organization's computer network. In this position, you will design, implement and monitor security measures to protect the network and its data from unauthorized access, cyber-attacks and other security threats. *This is a hybrid position based in Bridgeton, NJ.**Responsibilities:** Design and implement network security solutions, including servers, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems and virtual private networks (VPNs)* Lead Information Security specific projects such as network redesign, Active Directory redesign and Network Access Control* Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and take corrective actions* Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify network security weaknesses and develop mitigation strategies* Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations* Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network security is integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure* Respond to security incidents and provide support for remediation efforts*Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field preferred* 5+ years of experience in the IS field, preferably as an Information Security Analyst or Engineer* ISSP, CASP, CEH or other security certification required* 3+ years of experience managing enterprise class NextGen firewalls* Experience with security tools and technologies, such as endpoint detection and response, SEIM, SOAR, email gateways and asset tracking systems* Strong knowledge of threat hunting and vulnerability management programs, logical access controls and least privilege reviews, NIST Risk Management Framework, HIPAA compliance, PCI Guidelines and CIS Benchmarks* Strong documentation skills and experience creating Project Plans, Visio Diagrams, SOPs, RFPs, etc.*Find your inspiration.*Team players, leaders, innovators, nurturers, educators, advocates, people with character"”these are the people we hire at Inspira.
