Plant Controller

A great UHY client is seeking a *Plant Controller* to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong analytical skills, and is ready to be hands-on at the plant. Manufacturing experience is required.The *Plant Controller* role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.*Plant Controller* *Job Description*:* Develop, manage, and analyze plant financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.* Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making and track performance against transformation goals.* Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results, identifying opportunities.* Monitor and control plant costs, including production, labor, and overhead expenses.* Implement and oversee cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.* Conduct detailed cost analysis and recommend strategies for cost optimization.* Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting efforts.* Collaborate with leaders to set financial targets and ensure alignment with objectives.* Evaluate financial performance and provide insights to support strategic planning.* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.* Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.* Address any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.* Act as a financial partner in the plant's operational initiatives, providing financial analysis and support for new projects and process changes.* Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to ensure smooth implementation of transformation plans.* Monitor and report on the financial impact of transformation efforts.* Other duties as assigned by management.*Plant Controller* *Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).* Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial management role in a manufacturing environment.* Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.* Experience in managing financial aspects of significant organizational changes or transformations.* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.----------------------UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
