Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking an Assistant Program Director to support our Clinical team and maintain our treatment center in Mt. Joy, PA.Reporting Relationship: The Assistant Program Director reports to the Program Director for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duites that the Program Director may assign.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:RBT Requirements CoordinatorSupport Program Director with RBT supervision requirementsParticipate in RBT OrientationParticipate in Competency Assessments for Orienting TechniciansSupport Program Supervisor in running RBT monthly meetings as neededTreatment Center Management:Provide crisis management support during sessions and general treatment center coverage.Support the management of current treatment center services, i.e. EIBI. Support the development of new programs (e.g., Summer Camp).Support EP Scheduler with scheduling functions as neededSupport Program Supervisor, Program Specialist and EP Floaters as neededClinician Support:Provide monthly Operations portion of BCBA Orientation and support Program Director with orienting new BCBA HiresCompletes monthly and quarterly direct observation of Behavior Analysts and Assistant Behavior Analysts, providing feedback on performance, ensuring satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols, program development, and supervision of Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technicians. Direct observation includes on-site, live-virtual and recorded sessions.Identifies and implements quality control measures while supporting staff to provide exceptional services. Services include Caregiver Guidance, Behavior Consultation, Assessments, and Behavior Change Interventions based on the science of behavior analysisUtilizes the science of behavior-analysis to teach skills to direct reports, their supervisees, and caregiversPrepares topics, maintains accurate records (ie. agenda/notes), and runs scheduled meetings including: weekly meetings with Behavior Analysts, monthly individual supervision with direct reports, monthly team meetings, and other department meetings as assigned. Co-runs with Program Director monthly BCBA and EP team meetings.Prepares topics, maintains accurate records (ie. agenda/notes), and runs scheduled meetings including: weekly meetings with Behavior Consultants and Assistant Directors, monthly individual supervision with direct reports, monthly team meetings, and other department meetings as assignedImplements strategies to support clinical staff in meeting and exceeding expectations. Strategies include providing feedback, training and coaching on behavior-analytic strategies as appropriate, and implementing performance improvement plans.Support the Program Director, clinical leadership and human resources in employee selection, retention and termination proceedings for Program Specialist, Program Supervisor, Scheduler and Behavior Analyst, Assistant Behavior Analyst and technician positions for designated office location. Activities include interviewing and selecting candidates, orienting new hires, and participating in decisions relating to disciplinary action.Attend provider specific meetings to review current client progress and new client availabilityParticipate in committees (e.g., RPC, Ethics, Cultural Competence)Complete clinical-based initiatives/projectsSupport Program Director with evaluations as neededSupport Program Director with Enhanced Program client intake proceduresAdministrative and Non-Clinical Functions:Upholds all Behavior Interventions standards, policies and procedures including our equal employment opportunity, anti-harassment, anti-discrimination policies.BCBA Caseload:Maintain a reduced caseload (size of caseload determined by number of other responsibilities, must include one Enhanced Program client)Provides behavioral assessment and intervention based science of behavior analysis to support families referred.Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employees and organization as a whole.Engages in professional development activities and supports the professional development of BII team members through approved supervision activities.Requirements:Masters degree in education, applied behavior analysis or psychologyBoard Certification (BCBA) through the BACBBehavior Specialist License through PA Board of MedicineMaintains BCBA credential through the BACB, and LBS through the PA Board of Medicine and reports to supervisor and human resources within five days any certification or licensing status changeMaintains clearances, credentials and certifications as requested by Behavior Interventions and servicing providers5 years experience with BCBA certification, developing and implementing behavior analytic programs and completing assessments, required3 years supervisory experience preferred (supervising BCBAs)Willingness to travel throughout specified counties for *site visits when in-person support is deemed clinically appropriate. *Site visits may be conducted virtually through live or recorded sessions1 year experience working with significant challenging behaviorsMaintains PCM certificationExperience with VBMAPP, PEAK, PFA/SBT, AFLS preferredExperience running group meetings and conducting interviews preferredExperience creating clinical organizational systems preferredExperience developing trainings preferredExperience with PA insurance provider requirements preferred OR willingness to learnValid form of IDAbility to pass federal and state background checksMust have reliable transportationWorking Conditions:Ability to move, ascend/descend, position self, transport while exerting (lift, carry, push or pull) 5-10 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionallyAbility to move quickly to remain within arms reach of client(s)Ability to meet the physical requirements to successfully complete the physical components of the crisis intervention certification and implementation of interventions during the workday:Ability to balance physical movementAbility to support the weight of an individual while moving (kneeling) to the ground and a capacity to sit and kneel in various positionsAbility to move from a kneeling position to standing without assistance approximately 5 times in one minuteAbility to travel within the counties of clients served within the program; reliable transportationBenefits: When eligibility requirements are met, employee receives access to company medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance benefits, 401(k) retirement plan and PTO.
