Job Number: 25-5694Job Summary: The Rights Protection Officer is located in the Network Development and Management Division of Integral Care and performs complex mediation work involving assisting individuals in resolving consumer or provider complaints, investigations and provider appeals. The Rights Protection Officer serves as the liaison with the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (DFPS) and other regulatory bodies. The Rights Protection Officer is on call for abuse/neglect complaints investigation conducted by DFPS. The Rights Protection Officer provides consumer, staff and provider training and education. The Rights Protection Officer also ensures contract compliance through monitoring visits and record reviews. This position works under general supervision of the Director of Network Development and Management with latitude for use of initiative and independent judgment.Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned.
