We encourage our employees' participation in community and civic activities which lead to better communities, and a positive workplace environment where a work/life balance is encouraged.Essential FunctionsWork independently and ensure loan recaps are in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures with authority to determine if and when policy exceptions are acceptable.Complete non-board level recaps with minimal supervisionSpread and analyze financial statements to determine repayment ability of C&I and commercial real estate loans.Prepare written credit memorandums that include a detailed financial analysis of business and personal financial statements, fully assessing overall credit strengths and weaknesses.Exercise good judgment when determining areas of focus while reviewing financial statements and ensure adequate analysis while arriving at an independent recommendation for loan approval.Ensure loan requests are prioritized and deadlines are consistently met.Determine if financial documentation provided is acceptable to proceed with loan request.Take accountability and ownership for the accuracy and quality of their work.Monitor the loan portfolio's financial tracking reports.Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions for lenders on new, renewal and existing loans.Report to the Credit Officer findings that may have an adverse effect on loan collateral or a borrower's ability to repay the loan. Will be responsible for submitting required reports as necessary.Completes special projects as needed.Attend site visits with loan officers as needed.Take the initiative to follow-up, escalate, or seek additional resources to ensure customer satisfaction in a timely manner.CompetenciesFinancial Management.Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.Problem Solving/Analysis.Presentation Skills.Technical Capacity.Supervisory ResponsibilityN/AWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.Physical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time exempt position.
