Clinic and ASC locations are concentrated in Central Texas, along the Gulf Coast, Houston, and North Dallas.Leaders of this organization strive to ensure the company remains both a provider of choice in the markets they serve and an employer of choice for the healthcare industry's top talent.The PositionReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will lead in developing business intelligence solutions that collect, analyze, and present information to the business, and subsequently develop the solution to address the healthcare business requirements. The Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will work closely with the management team to achieve optimal deployment and utilization of organizational resources to achieve desired growth and operational outcomes, while building and maintaining the organization's reputation as a medical provider and employer of choice in the markets served. Supporting areas including clinical services, operations, finance/accounting, revenue cycle, and other departments within the organizations.Key functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Leads a professional team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of timely, accurate, comprehensive reports, and dashboardsProvides guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team membersResponsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions using Tableau and other systems utilized by the companyOperational and Business Objectives: Collaborates with Executive Management, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Sales, and Operations teams to define and understand operational and business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goalsBusiness Requirements and Metrics: Gathers and documents business requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to establish benchmarks and evaluate success criteriaFinancial Planning: Collaborates with Business Unit heads to build annual budgets and forecastsBusiness Case Development: Prepares business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisionsData Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes performance data from business, operations, and software systems to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Converts business performance objectives and requirements into clear and actionable reports and presentations.Interactive Reporting and Dashboards: Builds and tests interactive operational reports, analytics, and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Excel, or other suitable software, providing stakeholders with real-time access to relevant dataOrganization and Standardization of Data: Develops requirements and leads implementation of data warehouse solution to assist with providing meaningful insightQuery Development: Executes queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from databases, Excel spreadsheets, and other relevant sources to support reporting and data analysis requirementsPerformance Improvement: Collaborates with Operational teams to drive performance improvement initiatives based on analytical insights and best practices, identifying areas for optimization, efficiency, and process enhancementsCollaboration and Project Management: Works in a highly collaborative manner, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of analytical solutions. Leverages project management skills to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.Performs other duties, as assignedThe Successful CandidateThe Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead this critical function in a high accountability environment, through periods of turnaround and significant growth. These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following:7+ years of progressive experience in reporting, using business intelligence and analytics software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik3+ years of experience as a functional manager, managing a team of 2+ individualsProficiency in data analysis, analytics, and reporting, with a track record of delivering insights and actionable recommendationsExperience in report and dashboard development, data modeling, and data visualizationProficiency in working with SQL databases, including data extraction, transformation, and analysisExperience leading the design and development of system integration, using APIs, FTP, and other integration softwareStrong analytical skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service orientationDedication to quality patient careProficiency with MS Office and common web applicationsExceptional leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills; able to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organizationExceptional problem-solving skillsAdvanced computer software skills, including Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
