This role will be responsible for servicing commercial loan portfolio to include loan processing of payments and advances, along with answering calls from borrowers and bankers. This position acts as a trusted liaison with bank customers and participants to ensure the accuracy and completeness of complex financial transactions.Loan Payment ProcessingProcess loan payments, advances, payoffs, funding and renewals.Update the loan system.Notify participating customers of transactions, when applicable.Provide ongoing loan system maintenance.Daily balancing of the loan system and related general ledger accounts.Cross train and provide coverage for team members to ensure continuity of day-to-day operations within the department.Loan AdministrationMaintain the business unit network database.Assist with preparation and sending of loan updates.Coordinate and distribute materials via bank secure share file.Customer ServiceAnswer calls from borrowers, commercial bankers and third parties.Respond to email inquires and account for incoming commercial mail items.Ideal candidates will possess an associate's degree in accounting, banking, business administration or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Complemented by two or more years of experience of loan processing experience and knowledge of commercial loan documentation. Attention to detail, strong computer skills especially in MicoSoft Excel and the ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently to meet deadlines.
