OverviewTo oversee and direct the activities of the Marketing Data Science and Analytics function. Performs a pivotal role in defining how data and analytics drive marketing performance, campaign optimization, and personalized insights. Support executive management in developing and executing strategic plans. Serve as strategic partner within Marketing and drive initiatives related to acquisition, churn, retention and engagement/usage, identify business opportunities and achieve corporate KPIs and goals.This position is eligible for the TalentQuest employee referral program. If an employee referred you for this job, please apply using the system-generated link that was sent to you.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership across multiple analytics teams, driving the vision and execution of marketing analytics, data science, campaign optimization, and the development of predictive models and machine learning initiativesDevelop a comprehensive system for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts and campaignsDefine and execute data driven initiatives that align with marketing goals and deliver measurable business impactLeverage muti-touch attribution (MTA) insights to identify optimization opportunities, enhance campaign performance, and inform media allocation strategiesOversee the creation of personalized member insights to drive member engagement and satisfactionMaintain documentation, validation frameworks and controls to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulationsDevelop and maintain team-specific components of the Division Annual Financial Plan (AFP)Understanding of business direction, environment and strategies and work closely with stakeholders to ensure analytic output address business needsMaintain mathematical models, coordinate validation and testing, establish appropriate controls and communicate modeling methodology and share results to management, regulators and auditorsDefine and execute data-driven initiatives that align with marketing goals and deliver measurable business impactDirect and oversee vendor activities to ensure vendor performance meets established goals and to acquire third-party data to broaden database and fulfil data requirementsDevelop business priorities, goals, expectations and manage integrated project plans; ensure alignment with organizationLead or participate in organization wide project teamsPartner with senior management to ensure alignment with shared goalsContribute and advocate a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, communicating knowledge and business processes to other business unitsStay abreast of and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline"”Marketing Analytics, Business Administration, Data Science-or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experienceExtensive progressively responsible experience leading and managing an analytics operation in a large financial institution, aligning analytics initiatives with marketing objectives to deliver measurable impactExperience in muti-touch attribution (MTA) and marketing mixed modeling (MMM) frameworks, including their application to optimize campaigns and marketing strategySignificant experience in demonstrating thought leadership, initiative taking, decision making and creativity solving business problemsSignificant experience in a leadership or supervisory position in marketing research organization, preferably in the financial industryAdvanced business strategy acumen with progressive and demonstrated experience in analysis, modeling, marketing planning and business case developmentProficiency with analytics software and integrating analytics into enterprise marketing workflowsDemonstrated ability to design and implement marketing performance measurement frameworks and toolsSignificant experience in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and conciselyExtensive and progressive experience demonstrating strong project management skills and the ability to plan, organize, direct, and control a multifunctional operationExpert skill demonstrating effective interpersonal and cooperative relationship skills to include tact and persuasiveness to negotiate and obtain acceptance of recommended solutionsExpert skill in results-oriented leadership in a challenging environmentExpert research, data mining/querying, analysis, and reporting skills, including proficiency in sophisticated statistical methods and modeling, forecasting, and cost/benefit/risk analysisExpert database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skillsAdvanced organizational, planning and time management skillsDesired QualificationsMaster's Degree in a relevant discipline"”Marketing Analytics, Business Administration, Data Science-or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experienceAdvanced knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations and organizational objectivesHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 | 5510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526About UsNavy Federal provides much more than a job.
