ControllerOur well-established distribution client seeks a dynamic Controller to support their team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong sense of ownership to month-end closings, financial reporting, and tax compliance.Controller ResponsibilitiesDrive month end close activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring regulatory compliance.Maintain cash flow statements and GL (fixed assets, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.).Respond to internal/external audit requests and ensure proper audit documentation.Handle tax reporting and timely submission of tax returns.Ad-hoc accounting projects and support with strategic business planning.Controller QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; CPA (active or inactive) a plus.At least 5 years of high-level accounting experience, handling month-end and audit functions.Experience in public accounting, distribution, and/or manufacturing preferred.Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and committed to accuracy.Compensation: $60-$80/hr.
