Overview:The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides quality ABA services to the patients on the Specialty Pediatric Unit and adolescent population. In addition, the BCBA serves as the professional who develops and implements ongoing services to the staff.Pay for this role will be up to $36 an hour!Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ï‚· Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unitï‚· Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associatesï‚· Trains new staff on ABA techniquesï‚· Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvementï‚· Facilitates daily team meetingsï‚· Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-servicesï‚· Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unitï‚· Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely mannerï‚· Participates in performance improvement activitiesï‚· Follows all hospital policies and proceduresï‚· Must maintain license or certification in good standingï‚· Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriateï‚· Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisorOTHER FUNCTIONS:ï‚· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.Qualifications:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:ï‚· Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plansï‚· Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsï‚· Experience with working with adolescent populationï‚· Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:ï‚· Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACBï‚· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).ï‚· First aid may be required based on state or facility.We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.MBHADU#LI-MBHH
