These tasks will include, but are not limited too, delivery of small volume nebulizers, drawing of arterial blood gases, maintaining artificial airways and mechanical ventilation. The therapist must be competent to deliver these therapies to all age groups ranging from perinatal to geriatric.*Job Description*1. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.2. Appropriately documents all care activity performed and charges in the hospital EMR system3. Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities4. Demonstrates competency in utilization and maintenance of arterial blood gas machines.5. Demonstrates competency in proper set up and utilization of all mechanical ventilators6. Demonstrates competency in proper set up and utilization of the V60 NIPPV*Position Qualifications:**Required:*1. Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.2. Licensed in the state of Massachusetts in respiratory care3. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers (BLSHP).4.
