Associate Director of Infrastructure & Security, Arlington, VAImmediate need for an Associate Director of Infrastructure & Security with a growing technology company in Arlington, VA, offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader in IT. With a salary of $170k plus a 10% bonus, this hybrid role focuses on maintaining high standards in IT infrastructure and security, particularly as it relates to Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations. Many of the contracts are with the US government so being a US Citizen or Permanent Resident is a requirement.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, patching, and maintenance to ensure infrastructure efficiency.Issue Resolution: Handle escalated issues and monitor KPIs for a stable IT environment.Automation and Modernization: Lead initiatives to drive technological advancements.Data Center Management: Oversee the operation and improvement of two data centers, including on-call responsibilities.Security Alignment: Establish programs to meet industry security frameworks and compliance standards.Threat Management: Stay updated on industry trends and security threats to safeguard systems.Support and Availability: Ensure 24x7 support and high availability of IT systems.Process Design: Implement essential processes for seamless operations and high security.Strategic Decision-Making: Define priorities and make strategic IT decisions.Reporting: Create reports to inform management on infrastructure performance and staffing needs.Goal Achievement: Identify and meet strategic goals for infrastructure and security enhancement.Technologies Used:Microsoft Server 2016+Active Directory and EntraSQL ServerHyper-VDefenderPower BIRequirements:Four-year accredited degreeProven IT infrastructure management and security experienceStrong troubleshooting skills and project completion experienceAbility to travel to and from data center (Leesburg?) and office location (2x/month)Knowledge of best practices and security frameworksVendor management and budget oversight experienceExcellent communication and organizational skillsLeadership abilities for mentoring team membersBenefits:Comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance401(k) with employer matchingPaid time off and training budgetEngaging work environment with company events and volunteer opportunitiesPay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
