Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Cardiology)

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our client's dynamic healthcare team. As a Cardiology and Primary Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality cardiology care to their patients.*Responsibilities:** Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans for cardiology conditions.* Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostic procedures, treatment management, and follow-up.* Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests and imaging results, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations, to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions.* Order and interpret laboratory tests, prescribe medications, and make referrals to specialists as appropriate for comprehensive patient care.* Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications to promote heart health.* Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions, under the guidance of supervising physicians.* Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records.* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborate with nursing staff, and contribute to the overall patient care plan.*Requirements:** FNP, AGNP, or PA in New York* Cardiology experience* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach._Please note- The annual base salary range is $100k to $150k.
