Speech Language Pathologist

*Speech Pathologist Position Overview:*The League Education & Treatment Center is seeking experienced Speech Pathologists (CCC or CF) to provide services to special needs children, ages 2.75 to 5 at the *Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery (JFTN)*.Responsibilites:* Work with children presented with varied diagnoses including; ED, LD, ADD/ADHD, ASD* Provide individual and group therapy sessions* Keep up-to-date records* Conduct assessments as needed* Participate in team meetings and parent training*Principal Qualifications:** Master's degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology* NYSED certification as Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)* NYS SLP License and Asha certification (CCC) or SLP Limited Permit eligible* 1 or more years of experience working with young children*Additional Abilities and Characteristics:** Interest and willingness to work in an environment with children who exhibit a wide variety of communication needs* Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a multi-disciplinary team* Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred*Schedule:** Full-time (5 days/week)*Additional Benefits:** Disability Insurance* Gym Membership Discount* Gym Membership Reimbursement* Paid Time Off* Plum Benefits* Pre-employment Services* Verizon Wireless Discount* Vision Care Reimbursement* Wellness Program*The League Education and Treatment Center is a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities.
