Position Summary:The ABA Clinic Director, in addition to their regular BCBA clinical duties, is responsible for the management of their clinics Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team. ABA Clinic Director provides mentorship to both BCBAs and RBTs on their team, coordinates the team schedule, and directs team meetings to ensure the team is well supported.Essential Functions:Manage and develop the clinic ABA team, providing clinical and professional supportMaintain the schedules for the clinic RBTs and ensure there is adequate BCBA coverage in the clinic to provide support for the RBTsServe as a mentor and clinical resources to new and existing team membersAssist in the scheduling and onboarding of new ABA team membersConduct 1:1 meetings with and annual performance reviews for BCBAs and RBTsPresent at weekly meetings and cascades clinical and operational messages to the ABA teamSupervise at least 1 student earning their BCBA fieldwork hoursPartner with Clinic Manager and discipline leads to foster collaboration and positive team moraleAssess incoming clients for treatment using various assessment tools, and provide a clinical recommendation for weekly treatment hours based on client needDevelop individualized therapeutic programs to address client goals, drawing heavily from NET principlesRevise and update client programs on a regular basis, every 1-2 weeksSupport RBTs via mentorship and training for children on their caseloadProvide supervision for 5-10% of an RBTs supervision hoursDirect work with clients, always being ready to model a skill for an RBT or clientComplete and submit required documentation, including, but not limited to, SOAP Notes, Evaluations, Progress Reports in accordance with practice guidelinesCollaborate with other professionals and disciplines to achieve coordinated care goalsLead weekly team meetings with the clinics ABA team the clinics BCBA teamParticipate in interclinic Lead BCBA meetings and cross-discipline Lead meetingsMaintain a targeted caseload of 22 therapy hours per weekRequired Education, Experience and Credentials:Masters Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related fieldCurrent BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)2+ years of experience providing ABA services1+ years of experience supervising RBTsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to mentor and develop RBTs and future BCBAsCompetence with a variety of computer applicationsExperience with a wide variety of ABA assessmentsExperience working in a clinic settingPersonal Attributes:Interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skillsPassion for working with children with special needsCollaborative spirit and willingness to work as a teamCreative mindset for making therapy funProcess oriented with strong attention to detailWork Environment and Physical Demands:Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessionsAbility to lift or carry 30 lbsAbility to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapyTravel RequirementsSome travel within assigned region for training, meetings and supporting client coverage needs.This is a full-time position.
