Mental Health Professional (Minneapolis, MN) #1717NUWAY is currently looking for a compassionate individual to work at our South Minneapolis Admin location in a full-time capacity as a Mental Health Professional.The MHP role is compensated an annual salary of $75,000 with opportunity to receive productivity pay that is calculated at 65% of gross billing during each payroll cycle and paid bi-weekly.Organization OverviewNUWAY Alliance is a nonprofit organization created in 2019 with a mission to provide leadership, innovation, and recovery access in response to national and local trends in behavioral healthcare. They are responsible for ensuring that all clients receive services mandated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). In addition, they provide services to support achievement of effective personal development by working with clients individually or in group settings to identify and resolve issues including substance use, mental health, personal and/or emotional problems, and family issues. The MHP must be able to maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal guidelines and HIPAA requirements.Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:Master's degreeOne of the following licenses: Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMFT, LPCCAge 18 or olderDemonstrated working knowledge in the field of Mental Health ServicesAble to pass Minnesota DHS background studyExcellent written, communication, customer service, and case management skillsStrong facilitation, negotiation, investigation and mediation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPossess maturity, patience, understanding and empathy with recovering individuals and work with a multidisciplinary teamAbility to relate to people from diverse backgroundsPhysical Demands: Sitting for extended periods of time. Daily use of general office and/or residential facility equipment. Lifting (max 10 pounds), minimal reaching, bending and stooping.
