AOD / SUD Supervising Counselor ($75K-$85/yr.)

*AOD / SUD Supervising Counselor**Starting pay range: $75,000 to $85,000 annually (plus $200 per month additional allowance)**Schedule: *Monday to Friday (no weekends)*Center Point's* mission is to provide comprehensive social, educational, vocational, medical, psychological, housing and rehabilitation services to combat social problems such as substance abuse, poverty, unemployment and homelessness.*Center Point* is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals with a desire to lead to join one of our exciting teams as a _*Certified*_ *SUD / Supervising Counselor* at California State Prison, San Quentin (SQ), and other institutions in Northern California.*About the Position:*As a *Certified SUD/AOD Supervising Counselor*, you shall be AOD certified at a level that allows you to provide clinical verification of internship hours for AOD Counseling staff. You must have a working knowledge of SUDT programs.*Duties:*The Supervising Counselor supervises AOD Counseling staff; provides staff performance evaluations and applicable coaching and training; supervises and assists with participant orientation and intake, reviews and approve treatment plan development; tracks participant attendance, and providing training, oversight and monitoring of all program data including ARMS to ensure contract compliance; coordination, generation, and data interpretation of various reports.*Minimum Qualifications:*_*SUD / AOD Supervising Counselor must have a working knowledge of SUDT Programs and meet one (1) of the following minimum requirements:*_* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a social service-related field and one (1) year of experience providing SUDT services, as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III; *or** An Associate's Degree in a social service-related field and two (2) years of experience providing SUDT services, as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III; *or** Three (3) or more years of experience providing SUDT services, as a certified AOD Counselor, at a responsibility no less than a Counselor III.*Benefits/Perks** Highly competitive compensation.* Medical, Dental, Vision.* 15 days off (PTO/Sick time) increasing with tenure.
