Combine your exceptional clinical knowledge and skills with your faith in Christ, helping teen girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. The Encompass Therapist at Safe Harbor Ohio is a clinician who works on-site at the Safe Harbor Ohio residential campus to provide mental health services to teen girls who are victims of sex trafficking. Therapist provides individual and group therapy as well as crisis counseling to clients on his/her caseload according to each clients' needs/abilities; provides support for residents on campus with whom families are involved while working to actively integrate families into residential treatment. Integrates residents back into their home/community setting upon discharge. Provides family therapy, supervision, oversight, and education for resident/family interactions. Collaborates with Safe Harbor Supervisor to create and maintain a healthy culture in the cottage in which staff are supported and empowered to provide a healthy balance of structure and nurture so that clients can feel safe to engage in programming and receive treatment; ensures applicable residents have their needs met regarding contact with family, and that each family have their treatment needs met. This support includes supervising family time, providing parent education/psychoeducation, and providing family therapy.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct. Treat others with Christ-like attitude, while helping them experience their worth in Christ, and demonstrating behaviors reflecting CCHO's core values of Relentless Commitment, Selflessness, and Kindness.TEAM first.Complete intakes, MHAs (including accurate mental health diagnoses), treatment plans, and provides appropriate, accurate, timely (within 24 hours) documentation of all services provided; facilitates case management services, as needed.Provides treatment/interacts with clients and families using Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) modality. Teaches TBRI principles to families, as applicableSee job description for full list of responsibilitiesRequirementsMaster's level Social Worker (LSW) or Counselor (LPC) with Ohio license. Strong preference for independent licensure (LISW/LPCC)Experience working with teens and families, preferred. Experience in residential treatment strongly preferred.Must be physically capable of earning and maintaining compliance/certification with CCHO's requirements for using physical restraints (SCM: Safe Crisis Management) when necessary to maintain safety.
