The school readiness BCBA will oversee multiple RBTs and provide ongoing feedback regarding behavior concepts and treatment plan programming. The school readiness BCBA will also work with other service providers (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, BCBA outside of school readiness program) to develop transitions plans.Provides ongoing monitoring of a structured classroom schedule.Develops group social activities for age ranges of 3-6.Functions in a supervisory capacity and provides guidance to all areas of programming including training of RBTs and BCaBAs, as well as creation and revision of behavior plans for patients.Completes all required documentation and supervisory requirements as stated by state board for RBT and BCaBA supervision.Completes assessments and develops appropriate behavior plans to address caregiver and therapist concerns.Provides on-going support and training of behavioral intervention to the other members of the child's therapy team and family/caregiver support members.Provides detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system and ensures daily billing of services provided.Facilitates patients' transition from school readiness program to outpatient services, as needed.Makes appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed.Facilitates and assists in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.Requirements:Our Ideal Candidate Has:Master's degree in ABA or equivalent needed for certificationActive BCBA certification and state licensure3+ years of programming experience is preferred3+ years of RBT supervision experience is preferred1+ years of leadership experienceExperience operating as a BCBA in school setting is preferredAbility to travel to all APT locations in your zoneAbility to move freely around the clinical environment for patient treatmentAbility to lift 15 poundsAbility to sit for a brief to extended period of timeAbility to work on computer for a brief to extended period of timeGet to Know Associates in Pediatric Therapy:Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) was founded in 2007 by our CEO Renea Sageser to provide clinics in rural areas so children may receive the quality services they need closer to home.
