ACDS, Inc. is dedicated to providing lifetime resources and services of exceptional quality for children and adults with Down syndrome, Autism and other developmental disabilities.ACDS Pelham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team supporting students aged 3 to 5 years with special needs. Classroom sizes include 8:1:2s and 12:1:2s. The BCBA will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective behavior plans that foster growth and success in a nurturing preschool environment.*Full-time position, 30 hours per week, 45 weeks per year**Schedule:** Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am to 3:00pm* Wednesday 8:30am to 3:30pm* Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**Behavioral Assessment and Planning:** Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.* Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.* Set measurable and developmentally appropriate goals for each student.*Intervention Implementation and Oversight:** Train and supervise classroom staff in implementing behavior strategies and interventions.* Monitor and provide guidance to ensure fidelity in the application of Behavior Intervention Plans.* Regularly review and modify intervention plans based on data and observed outcomes.*Data Collection and Analysis:** Oversee consistent and accurate data collection on student behavior and intervention outcomes.* Analyze data to inform decisions and document student progress.* Prepare detailed reports for CPSE meetings, annual reviews, and parent updates.*Collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team:** Partner with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to align behavioral goals with therapy objectives.* Collaborate with special education teachers and administrators to integrate behavioral strategies into classroom routines.* Actively participate in CPSE meetings and annual reviews to contribute to educational and behavioral planning.* Support staff in pursuit of RBT certification and supervise RBT's once that designation has been attained.*Parent Communication and Training:** Maintain open communication with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and behavior.* Offer training and support to parents to help them implement behavior strategies at home.* Address parent concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.*Professional Development and Compliance:** Stay current on best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early childhood education.* Ensure compliance with ethical standards and state/federal regulations.* Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to staff training initiatives.*Qualifications:** Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.* Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.* Experience working with preschool-aged children with developmental and behavioral needs.* Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based practices.* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.*Preferred Skills:** Familiarity with IEP development, CPSE processes, and annual reviews.* Proficiency with behavior tracking and data analysis software.* Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or multilingual skills are a major plus!Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Referral program* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsEducation:* Master's (Required)Experience:* BCBA: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* BCBA (Required)Ability to Commute:* Pelham, NY 10803 (Required)Work Location: In person
