*Controller*We are seeking an experienced *Controller* to lead and oversee accounting operations, ensuring the organization's financial health. This is a hybrid role (onsite 4 days/week, remote 1 day/week after 90 days) offering an annual salary of *$115K-$120K*, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.*Key Responsibilities:** Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures (CapEx).* Perform financial reporting, variance analysis, and inventory management.* Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.* Oversee audits, tax filings, and grant reporting.* Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback.* Collaborate across departments to optimize financial processes.*Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management required.* Nonprofit experience and CPA certification (Texas or with TX reciprocity) required.* 5+ years of high-level accounting experience, including supply chain, CapEx, fixed assets, and variance analysis.* 3+ years of supervisory experience.* Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.*Additional Information:** Reliable attendance and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential.* Minimal travel required (up to 10%).*Equal Opportunity Employer*All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.#LKJHTXJob Type: Full-timePay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* No weekendsAbility to Commute:* Houston, TX 77020 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Houston, TX 77020: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
