Accounts Receivable Billing SpecialistDepartment: FinanceReports to: VP of FinanceLocation: LiverpoolFull-Time: A typical work schedule is standard business hours, 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., with the flexibility to handle escalations such as urgent billing issues or support during peak times like month-end close or annual audits.Pay Schedule: WeeklyNon-Exempt: Compensation starts at $40,000 to $45,000 annually, depending on experience.Benefits: Begin the first day after the first two full months of employment****The salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for the role and may vary based on several factors, including experience, education, specific skill sets, tenure, and overall fit. Our goal is to ensure that compensation remains equitable, aligned with the demands of each position, and reflective of each employee's unique value.Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will not only ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain customer accounts, and manage collections to optimize cash flow but also have the opportunity to grow your accounting skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.Essential FunctionsThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Prepare and send accurate customer invoices based on contractual terms and service completion.Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable and billing.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain customer satisfaction.Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations.Enter data into NetSuite, maintain databases, and process weekly billing.Create general ledger entries for new customers as needed.Process USPS rebates and handle cash receipts.Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide professional customer service.Perform other administrative and accounting-related tasks as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy and timeliness of invoices and customer account updates.Effective resolution of billing discrepancies and collection efforts.High level of professionalism with customers, visitors, and colleagues.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
