Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager, under the direction of the CFO and Controller, will primarily focus on multi-entity accounting, including corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts. This individual will assist with several essential functions, including cash management and the execution of various financial and tax reporting processes. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly financial statements and generate other reporting deliverables as requiredAccumulate financial information for tax estimates and returns for outside service providersPerform analysis for investments, projects, and budgets, including analytical review of budgets to actualsReview monthly sales and use tax filingsAssist with mentoring and collaborating with a small accounting staffMaintain the general ledger and assist with the monthly close processEnsure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls, including proper support and documentationAssist with all financial operations of the family office, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementTrack and report on investment performance, including private equity, real estate, and marketable securitiesBuild strong, long-term relationships with family members by providing exceptional service and maintaining discretionActively participate in and provide feedback and recommendations for process and reporting improvements, including systems integration, report building, segregation of duties, and internal controlsAssist with special projects, management presentations, and ad hoc reporting, as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree is a plusMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting and tax, with a preference in public accounting, a family office, private wealth/financial services, oil & gas, real estate, or relatable industriesActive CPA license is a plusExcellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with partnership accounting and/or multi-tiered entity structuresExperience preparing and reviewing financial statementsExperience in cash management, treasury, forecasting, and budgetingAdept at learning and implementing new accounting software and other applications; Sage Intacct is a plusAbility to coordinate with outside service providers#IND#ZR
