Creekside Post-Acute has been serving San Jose, California for over 50 years. It is a 130-bed that specializes in short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing recognized as a 5 Star Quality Measures and Overall Rating Centers.Location: 3580 Payne Ave, San Jose, CA 95117Website: are seeking an additional Payroll Coordinator who can work Part Time with ideal shift days - Monday, Wednesday and Friday in our Skilled Nursing Facility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Process payroll for all skilled nursing facility employees on a timely basis.Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Monitor and manage employee time-off requests, including vacation and sick leave accruals.Resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely and effective manner by investigating issues and communicating with relevant parties.Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries to management as required, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws as well as applicable healthcare regulations.Collaborate with human resources to support onboarding and offboarding payroll processes.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.At least 1 year experience in payroll processing, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff at all levels.Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to confidentiality.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while also demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
