We are looking for a Finance Director to lead and enhance our financial operations at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine. You will play a pivotal role in driving accurate financial reporting, optimizing accounting processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Finance Director will oversee the accounting team and work closely with our CFO to establish benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.Key Responsibilities:Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions.Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate consolidated financial statements.Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements.Implement and maintain efficient processes to improve close and reporting cycles.Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.Collaborate with the CFO to set financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.Provide actionable insights to support key decision-making processes.Evaluate and enhance accounting and internal control systems.Supervise daily bank reconciliations and maintain oversight of bank balances.Enforce consistent accounting policies and ensure compliance with legal standards.Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.Lead the accounting team with dynamic and supportive leadership.Supervise, recruit, and train financial staff to ensure trust and productivity.Assess current accounting operations and implement process enhancements.Develop and maintain preventive maintenance requirements for financial equipment and techniques.Conduct thorough analyses of operational performance from financial and business perspectives.Benefits:Collaborative and friendly work environmentFull coverage for employee medical insurance401k and profit-sharing programPaid vacation, floating holidays, regular holidays, sick timeEmployee discount programsEducation:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).Experience:35 years of healthcare financial management experience strongly preferred.Skills:Proficiency in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.Advanced skills in financial applications and spreadsheet software.Pay Range:$150,000 to $160,000 per year
